The Realme 12X was unveiled last week as the fifth member of the upcoming 12 series and has been officially launched today. Realme first announced the launch of this product in the Chinese market, but the model will also be launched in India in the future.
The 12X features a 6.67-inch 120 Hz LCD screen with a peak brightness of 625 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM (and supports 12GB additional RAM expansion). Storage options are 256GB or 512GB.

Camera-wise, you get a 50 MP primary rear camera and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The phone is IP54 certified, dustproof and splashproof, is 7.89mm thick and weighs 190 grams. It has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 15W wired charging. It runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 on board.
realme 12X in “Black Jade”
The Realme 12X will be available in China on April 7 on the Realme online store “Bluebird” and “Black Jade” for 1,399 yuan ($194 or 178 euros) with 256GB storage and 1,599 yuan (222 euros) with 512GB storage USD or 203 EUR). However, these are introductory promotional prices – they will rise to CNY 1,499 ($208 or €190) and CNY 1,799 ($249 or €229) respectively.
