No one dresses smarter than Willem Dafoe, and we can prove it.
The award-winning actor, best known for playing the Green Goblin in the original Spider-Man, was recently stopped on the streets of New York by Maurice Kamara, who runs The People Gallery , the gallery is a well-known social media account. Documenting celebrities’ “outdated” outfits.
As stated on TikTok, the People’s Gallery’s goal is to “unite the world one step at a time.”
Kamara is known for starting every Fit Check video with “Hey, how are you doing today?” Like everyone else, Dafoe started the video.
Viewers receive a brief introduction from Dafoe, who tells the camera his name and where he is from.
“Willem Dafoe. I’m from Wisconsin…I’m from Rome,” Kamala then asked him to “describe the fit.”
The video of Dafoe’s “cautious fit” inspection, Prada shoes and more, has gone viral, racking up 33 million views since being posted on Monday.
“William Dripfoe,” one user indeed wrote.

It wasn’t long before a fan spotted Dafoe and interrupted the interaction to ask for a photo.
Dafoe spoke to the woman, taking her body in and jokingly asking her if it fit, “What are you wearing?” he said.
The fan walked away and Dafoe needed to complete a health check. He pointed to his pants, not sure where they came from, and turned to show Kamala his backside.
As Dafoe began to walk away, Kamala managed to get one more question in, asking the actor: “If you could give anyone one piece of fashion advice, what would you say?”
“I wouldn’t do that. I would never give anyone fashion advice,” Dafoe said.

Users on TikTok and Instagram seemed to be on the same page, writing that Dafoe’s outfit was “drippy,” aka very cool.
“This guy was born to fly,” a user named Sookie wrote in a TikTok comment.
“You know Peter…I’m a big dripper myself,” Speakz wrote on Instagram, referring to the 2002 Spider-Man movie.
“This is not the Green Goblin, it’s the Dripping Goblin,” a user named Eric wrote on TikTok.
McCoy wrote: “Baby woke up and the new Defoe drip just came on.”
Others noted that his attire was indeed simple, projecting an air of modesty.
“Why is he dressed like a normal person, doesn’t he know he’s Willem Dafoe?” Luv, G wrote.
Chuckabuck100 wrote: “This guy is a famous actor and he acts like a regular guy on the street. This is crazy.”
