Tim Burton has spent the better part of a decade talking about whether he’s ready to make a Beetlejuice The sequel starring Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton.Perfect naming after such a long time Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Finally saw the light of day again.
The story is set several years after the original movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Lydia Dietz (Ryder) and her teenage daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) return to Winter River after the sudden loss of their family to meet Lydia’s mother Dee Leah (Catherine O’Hara). It’s unclear whose funeral the Deeds attended in the new trailer, or how any of them felt about the deceased.
But between Astrid discovering an old miniature of Winter River and Lydia watching in shock as Beetlejuice (Keaton) emerges from the toy-sized town, the trailer makes it look like we’re watching Burton’s creations return to the afterlife. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Releases September 6th.
