With Qualcomm having just released the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 to the masses, OnePlus has finally launched a device powered by the same chipset called the OnePlus Ace 3V. In other regions, it may be called OnePlus Nord 4.
Despite being a mid-range Android phone, the latest Snapdragon 7-series chips powering the OnePlus Ace 3V can take advantage of on-device generative AI. The octa-core processor is built on a 4nm process with a clock speed of up to 2.8GHz and is further assisted by an Adreno 732 GPU.
Ace 3V also comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device comes pre-installed with ColorOS 14.0 based on Android 14. OnePlus Ace 3V is equipped with a 5500mAh battery and supports 100W super fast charging.
In terms of design, OnePlus chose an all-glass design with a curved glass design on the back. The back panel is also different from previous Ace/Nord phones with a new camera visor. It comes with a primary 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. These cameras support 4K video at 60/30fps. The punch-hole on the front houses a 16MP selfie camera.
The punch-hole display on the front is an AMOLED panel measuring 6.74 inches. It has a resolution of 2772 x 1240 and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Finally, connectivity options include support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. Other highlights of the device include an alarm slider, IP65 rating, stereo dual speakers, and dual microphones.
The OnePlus Ace 3V is already available for pre-order in China in Magic Purple Silver and Titanium Space Gray (Chinese translated color options). The 12GB+265G version retails for RMB 1,999, the 12G+512GB version is priced at RMB 2,299, and the larger 16GB+512GB version is priced at RMB 2,599. While the OnePlus Ace 3V has now been officially launched in China, rumors suggest that the device will debut under the OnePlus moniker. Nord 4 in other regions.
Meanwhile, the device’s sibling – the OnePlus Nord CE 4 with a similar design – is gearing up for launch in India next month and will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.
