Hello dear readers, and welcome to the March 22, 2024 SwitchArcade roundup. In today’s article, we’ll wrap up the week by reviewing a ton of content released on Friday. There are quite a few really good games in today’s lineup, which is a welcome sight as of late. We’ll take a closer look at all of these games, summarizing the ones that deserve a closer look. After that, we’ll take a look at some new promotions, as well as the usual list of expiring weekend discounts. Let’s go for the weekend!
new version
Princess Peach: It’s show time! ($59.99)
It’s been a minute or three since Peach last starred, so it’s nice to see her take center stage in the competition again. Princess Peach: It’s show time! Coming to us via developer Good-Feel, they make some cool games such as Kirby’s Epic Yarn and Yoshi’s Woolly World. Peach must save the Glitter Theater from the evil Grape and Sour gangs, and in order to do that, she needs to wear a lot of different hats. We will review this soon, but the consensus so far seems relatively positive.
Legend of Legend HD Remastered ($49.99)
I think every fan of Japanese RPGs remembers the first time they got FuRyu’d. You know how things go. FuRyu has announced some new games in partnership with the creators of some of the biggest names of the past, and you’d be excited to think it would be just as good as those old games, only to get something significantly more… middle of the road? Excellent, Legacy Legend The game on the Nintendo 3DS is mine.then saga Very quiet and some people’s thoughts saga Veterans come together again to create a sagaGames like this are exciting. Legacy Legend It doesn’t quite hit the target, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. I’ll be taking a look at the HD remaster of the game in my review early next week and letting you know how I feel about it.
Unchanged($24.99)
oh! Hi, unconverted. This game was all the rage ten years ago and I think it’s still pretty popular now if I check it out. Well, this is the Switch version of the game. Survive a zombie-infested world alone or with friends, using whatever resources you can find across nine maps to fend off the undead. As much as gaming is “not my thing,” its popularity isn’t unreasonable.
Laika: Bloody Days ($19.99)
The game describes itself as a Western-inspired racing game, which is a pretty good napkin promotion for what it has to offer. You play as a motorcycle-riding Coyote Mama warrior seeking revenge on those who have wronged her people. People have been enjoying this game on PC for a while, and I imagine it will easily find an audience with Nintendo Switch players who enjoy Metroidvania.
Through the Obelisk ($24.99)
Are you ready for another deck-building turn-based roguelite game? slay the tower or monster train? If so, here’s another one of them. It’s also a pretty good game, but be aware that there’s also some DLC here that will actually double the price of the game. I think the most unique thing about this game is that you can play online co-op with up to four players. Anyway, I don’t have much to say about it, but I admire Pig Priest so much that I don’t want to go away without saying it.
Florist: Winter in Fairbrook ($9.99)
some kind of follow-up Florist: Summer in FairbrookIn this visual novel, you will lead Natalie as she tries to survive the winter break working at a flower shop in Fairbrook. Yes, it all lives up to the title so far. well done. It’s a dating sim with some light farming sim elements thrown in, and you’ll be able to reach one of nine different endings based on how you talk to other characters and how you choose to spend your time each day. If you liked the first one, why not?
Redgar: Space Vikings ($14.99)
If you like hotline miami, you might want to look into this story-driven top-down shooter. This is a story about Vikings in space. He has various weapons. There are various enemies that can use them. In that sense, it’s all very “from point A to point B.” The soundtrack is also very good. I don’t think it lives up to its inspiration in any way, but it’s good enough that I think it’s worth trying if you’re interested in this style of gaming.
Crypt Tracker ($6.99)
Another tribute to 8-bit Castlevania game, although it’s not a patch Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, this is enough. Since it is published by Red Deer, the price is higher than the normal price on other platforms. If you want to buy, wait for the big discounts coming soon because you Know It’s coming.
Looking for America: The West Collector’s Edition ($9.99)

Trash can group

Take to the Sky ($9.99)
Drift Legacy ($19.99)
