In some regions, like the US and Canada, the Samsung Galaxy A35 is the highest-tier A phone you can buy – but is it worth owning? As Will explains in our video review, for its price, it’s a solid choice.
Compared to last year’s model, the 2024 phone comes with a higher-performance chipset, a premium Gorilla Glass Victus+ panel on the front (there’s now glass on the back too), and improvements to the screen and speakers. The video details these improvements (as well as some areas where the phone still lacks).
The A35 gets Samsung’s second tier of software support – not the 7 years of the S-series flagships, but 4 OS updates and 5 years of patches, which is still better than most competitors. If you like One UI, you know what you’re getting (well, no new AI features).
The Samsung Galaxy A55 has some advantages over its peers, including an aluminum frame and a new Exynos mid-range chip with AMD graphics. A full review is expected soon. For our readers in the US and Canada, check out our Galaxy S23 FE video review, as this is Samsung’s alternative for those looking for something other than the A35.
