long story short
- Starting March 26, T-Mobile customers can claim a free one-year MLB.TV subscription (a $149.99 value).
- T-Mobile also launched a “Secret Baseball Button” that switches between MLB.TV and a fake video call screen with just one click.
- T-Mobile is giving anyone the chance to win a secret baseball button, perfect for watching baseball at work.
Just in time for Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Opening Day, T-Mobile decided to launch two baseball-themed products for its customers. First up is a home run: Another year of free subscription to MLB.TV, a $149.99 value. This benefit will be available starting tomorrow and will last until April 1st. T-Mobile customers can claim their subscription in the T Life app through T-Mobile Tuesdays.
But T-Mobile isn’t stopping there. To add a touch of playful (and maybe a little fishy) fun to the job, it introduces the “Secret Baseball Button.” This limited-edition device connects to your laptop via Bluetooth and allows one-click switching between watching MLB.TV and a screen that resembles a work video call.
While the free MLB.TV subscription is exclusive to T-Mobile customers, anyone can enter to win a Secret Baseball Button device through March 31 at SecretBaseballButton.com. This quirky gadget may be the first of its kind, but its ethical implications for the modern workplace are another story entirely.
This marks the ninth consecutive year that T-Mobile has offered free MLB.TV to its customers. The service offers live and on-demand coverage of every off-site regular-season game and on-demand in-conference games.
While baseball fans can rejoice, football fans are disappointed as T-Mobile recently announced that it will no longer be offering free MLS season tickets through the 2024 season.
