Yes, art people, please read this title carefully. Use your paintbrush, your easel and your meaningless degree. We, a bunch of guys with equally expensive degrees, are probably a bit useless to be honest, but we made some art using Dragon’s Dogma 2’s really good character creator.
Obviously, DD2 isn’t just about trying to recreate your grandma, your cat, or your favorite member of the Bee Gees, but frankly, you’d probably be lost picking your own nose. So, this is what we do.
Jim and his friend, uh, let me check, Owen O’Donnell of Infinity Reviews, teamed up to take a look at some of our VG247 characters as well as several others who are or have been with Gamer Network at some point in time on Dragon’s Dogma 2″ was created. Each character is shown and analyzed in great depth, and only when he has to reveal his choices on our podcast does he actively make faces – despite the fact that he’s in control of it – and one of the The companion was definitely created in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Especially the one you see at four minutes and thirty seconds. The rest is all the same and definitely worth a listen to check out, even if Jim didn’t use a little audio clip I sent him to help convey the beauty of one of my creations more than it needed to. If you haven’t played DD2 yet, it’s a fascinating, very compelling game. You can find our review here , which explains this in a very snappy way, and if that’s not enough you can watch Jim and Eurogamer’s Ian Higton play the first three hours here .
So yeah, check out our artwork in the video above, along with commentary from Jim and Owen O’Donnell of The Infinite Review, who’s been on VG247’s podcast before, maybe multiple times, but I don’t quite remember , because my memory only recognizes references to episodes of the original Midnight Club or Football Manager.
