Bhattacharya is one of the authors of the “Great Barrington Declaration,” an open letter arguing that COVID-19 lockdowns should not be implemented but should instead “focus on protecting” the elderly and immunocompromised; these views are not It is not widely recognized by the scientific community.

Finally, after more talks, videos and performances, including singer Tim Hockenberry singing Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land,” and singer Mi Mika Hale sang a gorgeous rendition of “America the Beautiful,” and Kennedy’s wife, actress Cheryl Hines, took the stage to introduce her husband.
