You can now report annoying Gboard glitches with a quick click.
As first reported by 9to5Google , the latest feature for the Google Keyboard app is a new “Quality Bug Report” shortcut that allows users to provide feedback directly to the Gboard team more easily than before.
The new feature is now available in the latest Gboard beta version and is available for various Android phone models, including Pixel phones, Galaxy S22 series or later, and even Chinese models like the recently launched Infinix Note 40 series. This means a wider rollout and should be available to everyone soon.
Previously, reporting a bug meant navigating through Gboard settings to reach Help and feedbackThen send feedback. Now it only takes two clicks by default, or even faster if you drag Quality Bug Report to the shortcut toolbar with just one click.
If you’re not participating in the beta program but still want to report an issue or make suggestions about Gboard to Google, you must follow the steps above.
Once this beta feature is made public, the entire process will be sped up for everyone. When you submit a report, “Quality Bug Report:” is automatically added to the beginning of your feedback. This handy label helps the Google team quickly filter and resolve user issues.
The first time you try to submit feedback, you’ll see a pop-up asking if you want to give Google Play services access to all device logs. If you agree, just click “Allow one-time access.”
