Regardless, the first Dead Reckoning (aka Mission: Impossible 7) was a huge success despite some hiccups during production, and we don’t expect the next one to be a surprise Oops, so the excitement is still there. After multiple delays, the eighth installment is expected to arrive on May 23, 2025.
Deadline announced the casting of O’Brien. After another production hiatus, she will join the Paramount Pictures and Skydance co-production, and the cameras are already rolling.
