A few hours ago, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy M55 in Brazil, although the device will also be available in other countries. One of them will be India, where the phone’s pricing has now been leaked by a usually reliable source.
As you can see, the M55 starts at INR 26,999 (approximately $323 or €299) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. If you want 256GB of space, then you’ll have to spend INR 29,999 ($359 or €332), and if you want the top-of-the-line model, the one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is INR 32,999 ($395 or €366) ).

Of course, if this rumor is true. Samsung has not yet launched the M55 for the Indian market, but the official launch is not far away.
To recap, the Galaxy M55 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz Super AMOLED touchscreen with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, an embedded optical fingerprint sensor, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The said storage is expandable via a microSD card slot.
There is a triple-camera system on the back with a 50 MP primary camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera, while for selfies, you get the 50 MP camera. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast wired charging. It runs Android 14 with One UI 6 and will get four major Android updates and five years of security patches.
