Last year, Google finally won its battle with Apple, with the Cupertino-based company agreeing to support RCS messaging on iPhones later this year. Now, Google appears to have leaked Apple’s timeline for making RCS available in iOS. In a new landing page for Google Messages, the company said Apple “will adopt RCS in the fall of 2024.” Hours later, the landing page had completely removed reference to the timeline.

In fact, the entire section revealing Apple’s plans to support RCS messaging this fall has been removed.
