Want a new smartphone? If you’re a Google Play Points member, you might be in luck. This week, Google added a “Super Weekly Prize,” with the prize being a Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro phone. Google is actually raffling off smartphones to Play Points users, with a total of 200 phones to choose from. The sale runs from March 29 to April 4, but who knows how long it will take to win all the Pixel 8 devices, so you’ll want to act fast.
As first spotted by 9to5Google , the Super Weekly Prizes are available for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond tier Google Play Points members. While 200 phones may sound like a lot, it’s easily the rarest prize in the giveaway. There are 100 Pixel 8 and 100 Pixel 8 Pro phones to choose from, but there are over 34,00 prizes available for Platinum prizes.
Over 10,000 users can earn 1,000 Google Play Points, and an additional 23,800 users can earn 500 Google Play Points (Android Central’s Derrek Lee won the award). Of course, there are also 200 Pixel 8 series phones, all of which come in the mint colorway that was recently launched as a mid-cycle update. However, you may also end up with the regular weekly bonus instead of the listed Platinum bonus.
The benefit is that you don’t need to risk any Play Points to earn the Platinum prize; you just need to qualify for one of the three higher tiers.

Competing for the big prizes is quick and easy. You must claim your Super Weekly Prize on the Google Play Points page. A medal will then appear on the screen and you can click on it to reveal your prize. You’ll know immediately which prize you’ve won, so there’s no need to wait anxiously.
Google says prizes are limited and may run out, but you can see how much of each prize is left before playing.
