Hilariously, Sasser then showed the crowd a photo of pallets that had just been left out in the open, before someone from the shipping center could potentially be sent to retrieve them.
Oddly, Sasser noted that he was told that the person who appeared to have signed the missing pallet also signed the pallet found at the construction site. “So there’s a lot of research going on right now,” Sasser joked. Despite the setback, Totilo claims Sasser told this story (and others) in good humor.
The robbery is just the latest development in the saga for the small handheld device. Ridiculed by many for its size and crank, the Playdate has come a long way since its inception.
