PITTSFIELD — An internet service outage during a spring storm apparently affected Pittsfield, including the Berkshire Eagle newsroom.
The store, located at 75 South Church Street, lost connectivity Wednesday around 3:30 p.m.
As of 3:07 p.m., 22 Spectrum internet outages were reported in Pittsfield, according to the website downDetector.com
On Wednesday afternoon, Zinky’s Pub in Dalton reported on its Facebook page that it was open and serving food and drinks, but “cash sales only until the internet is restored.”
Emails and voicemails left Wednesday afternoon with a Charter Communications Northeast spokesperson were not immediately returned.
A wind warning will remain in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday and a winter storm warning will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
