Author John Green’s books have appeared regularly on screen, from What’s wrong with our planet arrive Paperweight arrive looking for alaska.Next up is an adaptation of his 2017 novel Turtle all the way downwhich will premiere on Max on May 2.
Directed by Hannah Marks, starring Isabella Merced (mrs webb), Turtle all the way down It centers on Aza (Merced), a high school student who struggles with constant anxious, obsessive thoughts. As seen in the trailer, these thoughts range from worrying about the abundance of bacteria in our bodies to whether other people think she’s “crazy.” But when Aza meets her childhood crush Davis (Felix Mallard, ginny and georgia), she embarks on a journey that prompts her to reconsider her potential for love, friendship, and happiness.
