Hello, dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for April 5, 2024. In today’s post, we’re wrapping up the week with a series of frankly weird new releases. Mind you, this isn’t a bad thing. But if you’re looking for a traditional game, today may not be the day for you. After summarizing the new books, we headed to the sales office to see what new and expiring books were available. Perhaps due to the massive sale that started a week ago, we don’t have much to chew on today, but it’s enough. Let’s go to work!
new version
No umbrellas allowed ($19.99)
The game is set in a dystopia where population is controlled through rainfall and greed is illegal. You work in a department store and need to buy and sell items to customers who come in. Buy low and sell high, but be careful not to attract the attention of the authorities. Our friend Mikhail will leave the umbrella at the door and take a look at it soon in the comments.
PuzzMiX ($3.99)
If you thought Inti Creates couldn’t be bothered to make a shameless Gunvolt themed re-skin water painting game, you have made a tragic mistake, my friend. At least the music is good, right?
Super Destroyer Landing X Loaded ($4.99)
Earlier super astronaut The game provides a challenge space invaders and war zonenow we have a new game that seems to be very inspired by Super crate. Well, it’s not the worst game. I haven’t played the game yet, but it’s not an expensive bet if you just want to jump in.
Kitchen Crisis ($14.99)
You might think this would be a overcookedStyle thing. I know my first thought was that it would be like this. But no, this is a little different. This is more of a tower defense game if you can believe it. You’re cooking for aliens, while your chef more or less does his own thing. You need to prepare your kitchen by placing workstations and equipment in optimal locations to keep everything running smoothly. Strangely compelling.
Kudzu ($4.99)
Most of the publisher’s Switch releases so far have been modern NES standalone versions, but this time we’re getting a modern Game Boy game. Kudzu is an action-adventure game that tells the story of a maze and an intrepid explorer trying to find his missing master in the maze. Maybe he will find the answer to the mystery in the maze? I’ve heard good things about this game and it seemed like an easy way to try it out.
Slime Life ($4.99)
This… is a very weird game. It’s primarily a platformer, but it also has some adventure elements. You are a slime named Slammy who ends up not going to college but moving to the city to try to find a different path in life. Even though almost every character is a slime, there are plenty of relatable scenes in the game’s story. And, you know, some of it is irrelevant.I don’t know if I would call it OK The game is like a interesting One, but I know some of you really like this vibe. If so, consider the dinner bell ringing.
Greed 2: Forbidden Experiments ($15.99)
Find hidden objects… In the laboratory of an evil cult!
Laptop Cannon ($4.99)
It’s not a fine dining experience, but if you want something simple and functional Worms/Scorched Earthstyle artillery game, right here. It supports two players via local multiplayer, or you can do some target practice on your own.Honestly, I’d probably catch Worms weapons of mass destruction Cheaper than this because you get more in the package, but if you want to support indie games I wouldn’t think you’d be any worse off.
NibansenPlus ($4.00)
Solve puzzles and escape… From a mysterious and somewhat cursed subway line!
Trash can group
Stunt Scooter Simulator ($12.99)
Off-Road Jeep Exploration: Mountain Trails ($7.99)
Spy Hidden Object Deluxe Edition ($8.99)
Robbery ($4.99)
The Devil’s Call($4.99)

(North American e-store, US prices)
If you want to fill it up, you can pick up several of Kairosoft’s Sims at some of their lowest prices yet.The real enjoyment today is must protect, However. It’s never been this cheap before, and it’s rarely on sale. I didn’t list it, but the DLC is also on sale and well worth buying the whole set. There are some great books in the weekend outbox too, so be sure to double check both lists.

That, my friends, is all for today and this week. We’ll be back next week with some new games, more sales, some reviews, and some news. The usual song and dance, but at least we’re spinning the hits. I have a lot of RPGs on my hands right now. Let’s see if I spend the weekend working on them, or if I get away from work and play some Game Boy. It seems like an eternal battle. Hope you all have a great weekend, and as always, thank you for reading!
