Equipped with a reliable video recorder, it’s all about capturing the horrific scenes on camera and watching them later. The more scares you get in your movie, the wider your virality and the more rewards you get! The money can be spent on better equipment and the content cycle repeats itself again.
The game is produced by Landfall Games, the company behind Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, Stick Fight The Game, and other smaller projects. They have a history of making quirky and alluring games – and it looks like Content Warning is no exception! Early response has been positive, with many enjoying the co-op horror game and having fun with its found footage relevant to the genre.
There are bugs, of course, but the team has announced that they’ve woken up and are working on fixing some of the more serious offenders, including text-to-screen issues, voice chat issues, footage extraction issues, and disconnects/crashes. If the game does eventually catch on and gain a larger player base than the massive one it had on day one, it might be worth snapping it up quickly before the price tag is attached.
