A rare condition could soon appear in some parts of North America. On April 8, Mexico, the United States, and Canada will see a solar eclipse that will hit many cities along its path. If you don’t want to miss the event, Google TV is giving users a way to experience the total solar eclipse from the comfort of their own home.
Google said it will celebrate the eclipse by highlighting a series of content on Google TV starting April 7 and running through April 8. During this time, Google TV will display a selection of free, ad-supported (FAST) local and national channels covering the current moment.
For those who don’t want to miss anything, channels will appear in the “Recommended for You” tab. They will also display a custom eclipse-themed title card, you can see an example below.

Even for those who live outside the path of a total solar eclipse, millions of people will still be able to experience a partial eclipse, as it covers much of North America.
