“From space to your place”. +61’s first campaign launches Telstra’s satellite home internet

In this first project for +61 and Telstra, the team paired photographer Kander with renowned character designers Odd Studio. Australian prosthetics experts have extensive experience working on films such as Prometheus, Alien: Covenant and Thor: Love and Thunder, making them ideally suited to bringing the otherworldly local characters in the ads to life.

Telstra Chief Marketing Officer Brent Smart said: “Just a few months ago +61 was an idea and now their first creation is on the market. I love how ambitious yet simple the work is. Of course, it’s made Beautiful, like everything Micah and his team do. We’re just getting started.”

“This is a unique campaign to let more rural Australians know that there is something floating in space right now, just for them,” said Micah Walker, chief creative officer at Bear Meets Eagle On Fire.

The comprehensive campaign spans out-of-home, broadcast, in-store, media, social digital and experiential activities.
