Hellraiser 2 Players have successfully knocked down all the bots, but now they’re faced with a new problem: not being able to get the Platinum Game.
Last week, Helldivers 2 players came together to take down all the enemy robots as part of the game’s latest big order. Since then, there have been a few crashing issues that affected later operations, but the good news is that a fix is coming “soon.” But in the meantime, some players on the gaming subreddit have noticed a slightly intractable problem (thanks to TheGamer). With all the robots gone, it seems technically impossible for the game to reach platinum status, as there are three achievements that all require robots.
So now that the robot is dead, is it impossible to obtain this achievement?

None of these achievements are particularly complex, but with the bots gone, there’s no practical way to earn them now. The three achievements affected are:
- Bot Scrapper – perform a robot task
- Let’s call it a draw – shoot both of Hulk’s arms off and evacuate while he’s still alive
- Nothing is greater than freedom – Defeat the Hulk

But it’s worth noting that robots are unlikely to disappear forever. First of all, this would indeed make these achievements impossible to obtain, and I’m sure all the trophy hunters would be fussing if that were the case. As many people have pointed out on the game’s Reddit subreddit, it’s likely that the robots will return, as it’s possible they’re still active elsewhere in the universe. It might just be a matter of time before the robots make a comeback, and then you can lead everyone to freedom again.
While you wait, though, there’s a new War Bond arriving this week, which will include an explosive crossbow and grenade pistol that you’ll inevitably blow yourself up with.
