Motorola Edge 50 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE4 arrives, iPhone 16s model pops up, Week 14 review

Motorola this week launched the Edge 50 Pro, a mid-range phone with a 4,500mAh battery, 125W charging, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. There is a 50MP f/1.4 main camera with OIS, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

On the software side, Android 14 comes with Motorola’s new Hello UI. Owners will receive 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security patches. Finally, the Moto Edge 50 Pro features a 2,000-nit 6.7-inch 1220p pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Pricing starts at INR 31,999 ($383) for the 8/256GB version and INR 35,999 ($431) for the 12/256GB version. Public sales in India are scheduled to begin on April 9.

We also got our hands on the lovely Motorola Edge 50 Pro.

OnePlus has launched the Nord CE4 – another mid-range and high-end phone powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. It comes with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC charging (a charger is included in the box), and a battery health engine that ensures the battery stays charged for at least 4 years.

The Nord CE4 features a Sony LYT-600 sensor behind the main camera – a step down in sensor size from the CE3 and its 1/1.56-inch main camera. There is a 6.7-inch FHD+ display on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Nord CE4 goes on sale on April 4th. The base 8/128GB model is priced at 25,000 rupees ($300/280 euros), while the 8/256GB model is priced at 27,000 rupees.
