No, it’s not Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday, but Target is back with another Circle Week sale on Saturday, April 13th. Amazon had its spring sale two weeks ago, so naturally Target will follow suit. good news? Some of our favorite tablets, headphones, and kitchen items are on sale.
There is a warning: You need to be a Target Circle member. However, it’s free to join and can net you significant savings throughout the year. Unlike previous Circle Week deals that required you to clip the offers to your account first, these are automatically applied as soon as you’re logged into your Target account.

Tablet and Laptop Deals
We suspect the new iPad lineup will launch sometime in May, including a new Mini. It’s worth the wait if you want the latest, but this model still works fine. The 2021 Mini (8/10, recommended by WIRED ) gets a makeover that’s more akin to the iPad Pro with narrow bezels. The 8.3-inch screen is very portable, and it still helps you get work done thanks to the built-in A15 Bionic processor, which is fast enough to handle the most intensive apps and games.
The 9th-generation iPad is cheaper at $250, but the 2022 iPad gets a facelift and supports USB-C charging, so it’s worth every penny, especially at this price. The rear camera has been upgraded from 8 to 12 megapixels, and the front camera is centered in landscape mode so you don’t have to reposition it for video calls. It also finally comes in a fun color instead of silver or Apple’s usual sad attempts at pink. (It still only supports the first-generation Apple Pencil.)
This is our favorite tablet under $200, and this sale brings the price down to under $100. It wouldn’t be our first choice – Amazon devices heavily push Prime services and apps, not every Android app is available, and you’ll need a workaround to get to the Google Play Store. But if you need a cheap tablet for playing games and watching movies, this tablet will do the trick. If you’re okay with a smaller, less sharp screen, the 2022 Fire HD 8 is on sale for $65 ($35 off).
Amazon has two versions of the kids’ tablet in two different sizes: Regular and Pro. This regular one is best for toddlers around 3 to 7 years old. It’s the same as the standard version, but adds kid benefits like a sturdy case, a two-year replacement guarantee, and one year of Amazon Kids+ kid-friendly media. The Fire HD 10 Kids Pro is best suited for older children (ages 6 to 12). The product is out of stock at Target, but is available on Amazon for $150 ($40 off). The 8 Pro is also discounted to $100 ($50 off).
The older version of the Pro 9 was our choice for the laptop/tablet hybrid device; this version has a faster processor. It runs Windows, so you can rely on it to do heavier work on the 13-inch screen. It has a built-in stand, but if you want the keyboard, you’ll need to buy it separately.
This is an older version of the Aspire 3, which we currently recommend as a very cheap laptop. The screen is a little dim, but 12GB of RAM is more than enough for the price. However, if you’re not strictly in Target shopping mode right now, Walmart has the 12th-generation version on sale for $359.
Headphones deals
The Beats Fit Pro (9/10, recommended by WIRED) are among the best-sounding headphones we’ve tried in this price range. They’re very comfortable, stay put in almost any workout scenario, and have up to 6 hours of battery life if you turn on active noise cancellation. They also come in fun colors like neon yellow and coral.
The AirPods Pro (8/10, Recommended by WIRED) occasionally hit the $249 list price, but they’re often discounted to between $190 and $200, making them more in line with regular price than on sale. Still, if you’ve been wanting new headphones, these are solid and feel better than regular AirPods. This model has a USB-C charging port on the case, so you no longer need a Lightning cable.
We typically see these earbuds selling for around $200, rather than the $250 MSRP. When we reviewed the Powerbeats Pro (8/10, recommended by WIRED) in 2019, we loved them because they sounded great, had up to 9 hours of battery life, and fit securely on your on the ears. They’re starting to get a little older now and lack active noise cancellation, but they’re still great earbuds if you want extra security.
Kitchen and Home Deals
KitchenAid mixers come in many sizes and types, but as of now, this is the only one on sale. It has 11 speed settings, and the 5.5-quart bowl is still suitable for cookies and dough, unless you’re baking for a particularly large group of people. Kitchen appliances are an investment, but they should last you a lifetime.
This kind of promotion isn’t uncommon, but if you just need one drink, we usually recommend the Keurig. It’s narrow, so it fits nicely on narrow countertops or even on a table. It usually comes in more interesting colors, and although most Target is out of stock right now – you can still find them on Amazon.
Dyson is widely praised for its stick vacuums, and we like many of them, but this upright vacuum (9/10, recommended by WIRED ) is perfect for trimming pet hair. Wired writer Gianna Gray says it’s the only thing that can stand up to her rabbit’s unruly hair. Neither the canister nor the roller head got clogged or tangled. While it’s convenient to not be tethered to an electrical outlet, it’s also nice to not have to think about charging the vacuum in the middle of a cleaning session.
We’re big fans of Target’s private home brands, and these percale sheets are a personal favorite of mine. They don’t go on sale very often, so now is a good time to pick up a set if you need one. Percale is a cotton fabric that often makes for cool, crisp sheets. I found that to be accurate here; they’re crisp without being stiff, and I didn’t get hot or itchy all night while sleeping in them. We also really like its linen sheet set, but there are only a few sizes available right now. Some other bedding items are also 30% off.
If you already need to buy items like laundry detergent, toilet paper, and other general cleaning and kitchen supplies, you can get $15 back for later use.
