Indie fishing horror film ‘Dredge’ to get film adaptation

Johnson served as a co-producer on both Sonic the Hedgehog movies, as well as the upcoming third film. Dredge is also the latest video game adaptation from Story Kitchen, which is also working on adaptations of We Happy Few, Tomb Raider, Disco Elysium, It Takes Two, Life is Strange and more. Dredge’s official synopsis for the film is “Think ‘The Sixth Sense’ on water. A grounded cosmic horror hybrid of H.P. Lovecraft and Ernest Hemingway.”

Black Salt Games also released a statement saying, “We’re excited to be working with such an experienced studio team to bring the worlds we create to life and spark the imaginations of audiences around the world.” Johnson and Story Kitchen’s Other members also released a statement, saying: “‘Dredge’ is a riveting, weird and incredibly rich story that had us completely hooked from the start!”
