star wars desperadoes Players will be required to have an internet connection when installing the game, even if they purchased the physical retail version. Although not specifically mentioned by Ubisoft or Massive Entertainment, details emerged in today’s release date confirmation and new trailer.
Star Wars Desperados network requirements are similar to Avatar: Pandora Frontiers
There’s a label on the Star Wars Desperado box that says “Internet required to install game.” This isn’t a new feature for Ubisoft games, as Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier released last December had the exact same feature. An internet connection is required to set up a Ubisoft account and download additional content (such as day-one updates). Offline mode is available after downloading the day-one patch.
