Hola Helldivers 2 people. Arrow just dropped some nice new ship module upgrades for you to consider buying, but ultimately held back on because you were too cheap. Seriously, these are aimed at veterans looking to take their skills to the next level, so you’re going to have to put in a lot to…well…make your crew members crate experts.
In case you weren’t aware, the Democracy Explosion War Bond is actually arriving in the game today to help you continue fighting against automated invasion forces, provided you can avoid accidentally blowing yourself up with your new crossbow. Beyond that, these ship upgrades have arrived, and it’s like taking a space trip to IKEA (and other furniture stores too).

As announced by community manager Baskinator on the game’s official Discord server, these modules are part of the just-deployed Super Destroyer Fleet upgrade, which lets you make some level four modifications to different parts of your ship. As you’d expect considering they’re level four, they do more than just add some of your mom’s favorite throws and throws to the couch, and do so for a pretty hefty price.
Personally, my favorite is the “Advanced Packaging Methods” upgrade in the Patriot Administrative Center, which basically lets you pay 20,000 requisitions and a shipload of samples to have your crew take a course that teaches them Packing supply boxes more efficiently. Hey, it sounds like it’s been an intense eight weeks, and even if you let them go on vacation, that would help them.
If you want something you can show off to your buddies without feeling shy, you can also equip your hangar with an “XXL weapons bay”, equip your railgun with atmospheric monitoring capabilities, and equip your engineering with some Circuit expansion bay. The first two of these will take more time than box training and wiring.
Oh, and your robot workshop also has an enhanced blast absorption upgrade that says it uses polystyrene packing peanuts, which is pretty interesting.
If you’ve been unable to get something that might require you to pay for such upgrades, you’ll be happy to hear that Arrowhead plans to improve the game’s reward system at some point.
