If you’re a Fallout fan, chances are you’ve already finished watching Amazon’s Fallout TV show, or are working your way through episodes as life allows. No matter how far away you are, you’re bound to see Lucy wielding a cool tranquilizer pistol. If you are a big fan of Fallout 4, then the new Fallout 4 mod is definitely for you.
If you didn’t know, Lucy is the show’s vault dweller, and from the moment she starts facing the horrors of the wasteland, she has a dart gun at her side, which apparently comes in handy sometimes. The weapon’s futuristic design has certainly caught the attention of one veteran modder, who has been working on bringing it to the Commonwealth for some time.

The modder is Neeher, and we interviewed him earlier this year about his work on the upcoming Fallout: London. The TV show gun is his standalone creation and is called the “Select Blaster” to bring it in line with Neeher’s many other Fallout 4 weapon mods.
“I saw an article in Vanity Fair last year about the Fallout TV show and saw a photo of the main character Lucy posing with this neat pistol weapon,” the modder explains. “A lot of people rightly thought it was going to be a tranquillizer weapon. But I didn’t really want it to be just that, this pistol looks more like an energy blaster to me!”
“So, this mod is my take on the weapons shown in the show. It can be a tranquilizer, it can be used as a syringe, it can be an energy weapon if you will!”
So, yes, in line with that, this gun – which you can see in action by checking out the video below – starts out as a dart shooter by default, but can be turned into a fused battery-powered laser blaster at the crafting table device if you like. There are plenty of other customization options and mods, including some barrels and grips that are purely cosmetic, allowing you to focus on making the gun look exactly how you like it.
To obtain it, you’ll need to head to the Overseer’s Office in Vault 114, which you may remember from when you rescued Nick Valentine during the game’s main mission. Oh, and there’s also a modded version for Xbox One, which you can find here .
