Back in January, Motorola shared a list of devices that would get the Android 14 update, and as you might imagine, the Edge 40, which launched last year, was also on that list. However, it took a long time to start rolling out the update on devices in the Indian market. Better late than never, we guess.
Anyway, as reported by X, the final stable update is now rolling out to Edge 40 devices in India in batches. The update is delivered over-the-air and requires a 1.49GB download, so make sure your network is fast when getting the update.

After installing the update, you will be using build U1TL34.115-13, and the update also includes the March 1, 2024 security patch. As always, it may take a few days (or weeks) for the update to reach all eligible devices.
