your dad maybe Won’t complain about any gift you give him. For better or worse, most modern dads aren’t obsessed with gifts. You know that meme of the bearded older gentleman opening a shirt with a goofy smile? There is a lot of truth to this. However, I’m not only a dad and gear reviewer, but I also have a specific philosophy on what makes a good gift for a middle-aged man like me.
You will notice some threads running through this declaration GUIDELINE: The best gift for your dad is something that is not only relevant to his interests, but also something that is, so to speak, “overkill.” Dads tend to like things that are overbuilt but useful. I’m sure there are dads out there who want to be “pampered,” but that’s not me, and it’s not the dads I know who physically cringe when they read this sentence.
If you take away one idea, I hope when it comes to giving dad a gift, you rarely go wrong with giving an expensive but excellent version of something we commonly use. We especially love things that earn the admiration of our peers – there’s nothing like having another daddy dude take note of his ridiculously expensive tire pressure gauge and say, “Oh yeah, my kid bought me that ——They” made Dad even more happy. Although a little pricey, I have to say, the results are always great. “
