The news about Google’s upcoming Pixel 8a can’t seem to stop. Following several purported live images released a few days ago, a new leak has emerged today, showing us all four colors that will be available.
Google Pixel 8a in obsidian color
These will be called Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Bay (blue), and Mint (very self-descriptive). We’ve seen all of this before on other Pixel devices – the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro both have Mint versions, while the latter also has a Bay version.
A pristine Google Pixel 8a
The source of this leak claims that the Pixel 8a will finally be officially unveiled at the Google I/O conference on May 14. So, we’re still over a month away from launch, which likely means more leaks are coming.
Porcelain Google Pixel 8a
The overall design of Pixel 8a is close to that of Pixel 8, and the back will have a matte texture. The 8a is expected to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ 90 Hz display, while Google’s own Tensor G3 SoC will be at the helm. The Pixel 8a should have a 4,500 mAh battery, a 64 MP main rear camera, and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Google Pixel 8a in the Bay Area
Recent rumors suggest that the Pixel 8a will launch at a higher price than its predecessor, and of course it will be powered by Google Fi Wireless in the US – in fact, Google’s carrier may have leaked the Pixel 8a itself last week.
