Yes, Fallout 4’s next-gen update will affect Fallout: London, but don’t worry, the mod team has a plan of action

So, after Bethesda went silent on the subject, yesterday we finally got news of the long-awaited next-gen update for Fallout 4. Since it’s set to release on April 25, two days after Fallout: London launches on April 23, a big question that immediately arises is how the update might affect this massive mod. The good news is that the FOLON team seems to have a plan.

If you’re unfamiliar with Fallout: London, it’s a complete conversion mod for Fallout 4 that lets us explore a post-apocalyptic version of the British capital later this month, complete with new factions and missions. We’ve been getting regular updates from the team behind it over the past few years, including part of the modding showcase for the C3 back in February – in fact, the FOLON team admitted that a next-gen update could be something like that before everything materializes.

Now, Fallout: London project lead Dean ‘Prilladog’ Carter has released a statement via the mod’s Discord server outlining the group’s plan of action. “Some of you may have noticed that Bethesda plans to release an update for Fallout 4 two days after our scheduled release date,” he wrote. “We are actively monitoring the situation closely.

“After thorough internal discussions, the team has reached consensus on the best course of action moving forward. As a result, we will be releasing a video this Saturday to provide insight into our decision-making process and the steps we are taking to respond to the current situation. .So please wait for updates.”

Carter added: “We do know that this news is both exciting and worrying for everyone involved. Nonetheless, we ask for your patience and that you give us the opportunity to address this in our video on Saturday Question. Stay safe and remember. Watch the gaps.”

The advisory concludes by declaring: “Any threats against our developers or members of Bethesda will result in at least immediate removal from the servers. cease and desist.”

So, that’s it, keep an eye on Fallout London’s YouTube channel tomorrow (April 13) for updates, or just follow this article as we’ll embed the video in there as soon as possible. Have seen it up and running.
