Hellraiser 2 Players are frustrated by the game’s excessive fire damage, but developer Arrowhead promises a fix is on the way.
Earlier this month, blizzards and sandstorms were added as part of an update for Helldiver 2, and damage from fires was also adjusted. This particular tweak wasn’t well received, however, as it essentially caused players to die from fire damage in just a few seconds, which unsurprisingly pissed off a lot of players. Thankfully, changes appear to be coming, as in the game’s official Discord, community manager Thomas ‘Twinbeard’ Petersson assured players that the team is working hard to make the fire feel less overwhelming (thanks to PCGamesN).

“We’re currently experiencing a ‘whole misfire’,” Peterson wrote in reply to a Discord user. “Works – DPS, DOT, host, not dying from touch in two seconds, etc. Fixes may be introduced in parts , but we’re like Donkey Kong on a barrel!” In another message to another user, Peterson went on to admit that the damage from the fire was “ridiculous,” writing, “Wrong to say the least. Changing… It’s a complex process, so we’re doing it in parts.” Information needs to be followed. ”
This is obviously a welcome change for those who get burned like they forgot to take a bagel out of the toaster, but without a date, you just have to be careful with those blazing flames.
Arrowhead also recently announced that the game’s reward system will be getting an overhaul soon, and Helldivers 2 just recently got a new ship module upgrade that lets you spend a lot of money to teach your crew how to pack boxes, which will definitely come in handy… …finally. Oh, and if you’re worried about whether you’ll be able to get the platinum trophy, don’t worry – the Autobots are back, so you’re all good.
