Bluey just aired its longest ever episode and premiered its third season special “The Sign” worldwide over the weekend. The 28-minute episode features some major changes to the Shearers and is packed with Easter eggs for fans of the popular Australian children’s cartoon.
Sure enough, this is also a deeply touching and moving episode; Bringing tears to the eyes of audiences of all ages.

However, just as he was about to reunite with his family, Bandit received a call from real estate agent Bucky (voiced by Rolf McManus). Although we don’t hear it, it’s clear what happened: The buyer pulled out at the last minute, giving the Heels one last chance to turn around.
Bandit slowly approached the “For Sale” sign, peeled off the “SOLD” sticker, glanced back at his family, then pulled the entire sign out of the ground and threw it onto the road.

It’s a touching moment, with the transformation from doubt to determination clearly evident on Bandit’s face. His anxiety completely disappeared when Chilli hugged him, soon joined by Bluey and Bingo. Families rushed into the house, children running happily through each room, happy to be able to stay.
The episode ends with the Heels sitting on the floor of their empty home, enjoying a dinner of fish and chips together as the sun sets. Although Bandit hopes to give his family a better life with their new jobs, it’s clear they’re perfectly happy with their current lives.
