Prime Video finally released its live-action version of Fallout last week, and it quickly received positive reviews from all quarters. So it’s no surprise that players are craving these games as well, and that’s exactly what’s happening. In fact, at least according to SteamDB statistics, players return to all Fallout games in droves, but there’s no denying that some players return more than others. Fallout 4 was the most played game of the weekend, peaking at 83,491 players on Sunday – keep in mind that a week ago, the game’s peak player count was around 24,000, so after Fallout 4’s release, The number of players more than tripled from last week’s show.

However, Fallout 76 set a new record this weekend, and now that you’ve finished watching the game, you should definitely play it now. The multiplayer version of the classic RPG series actually reached its highest number of concurrent players ever, with 39,455 players on Sunday. That’s not bad for a game that wasn’t well-received upon release, but clearly people want to recreate the wasteland with friends because of the show. Fallout: New Vegas itself also performed well, not quite as well as 76 or 4, but it did peak at 19,505 players.
The number of players from “Fallout 1” to “Fallout 3” has also increased, but not as significantly. “Fallout 3” has nearly 7,000 players. To be fair, though, Fallout 2 also hit an all-time high in concurrent players, albeit with a much smaller 1,062 players. Of course, if you’re thinking about returning to Fallout 4, you might want to wait a bit, as the game’s next-gen upgrade is finally arriving later this month.
