It’s been a few months since we first saw rumors about the Samsung Galaxy C55, but the phone still hasn’t been officially announced. So the leaks continue. The C55 appeared on the Geekbench database, showing that it is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
If you’ve been following Samsung’s launch events recently, you’ll know that the Galaxy M55 also uses this chip. In the C55, it will come with 8GB of RAM, as shown in the Geekbench scorecard and Google Play Console (the M55 also comes in a 12GB variant). The phone runs Android 14 and may come with One UI 6.1.

According to details from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the C55 will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display (FHD+) with a 13MP selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint reader, along with a 50+8+2MP camera on the back and a built-in 5,000mAh battery.
It’s all very similar to the M55, except for the selfie camera – which has a 50MP sensor on the front. The M55 also features 45W charging, which has not been seen in the Galaxy series except for the S flagship (and then not all). We haven’t seen charging details for the C55 yet, but it will likely be limited to 25W to keep the two models separate.
There’s another related model: Galaxy F55. This should be a regional variant of the Galaxy M55 or C55 – probably the C55 since the Bluetooth SIG lists them on the same page. Anyway, TENAA also released photos of the Galaxy C55, but the design is basically the same as other Samsung phones.
After all these leaks, Samsung still has not officially confirmed the Galaxy C55 or revealed when it will be officially launched.
