The Best iPhone Portable Chargers of 2024

We’ve tested several power banks designed for iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch, and here are our top picks. We recommend some of them just because of their portable form factor, while others because of how powerful they are. But these are great solutions for under $100 to supplement your Apple tech.

Satachi Quatro Wireless Power Bank

The power bank can wirelessly charge an Apple Watch, another Qi-compatible device, and two devices connected to a USB port simultaneously. The benefit is that if you travel, it’s a more convenient alternative than carrying around a bunch of charging cords and wall warts, as you can charge multiple devices without finding an outlet. At $100, it’s not an economical option, though, as you can get a similar 10,000 mAh power bank for much cheaper than the Quatro. Additionally, its smartwatch charger only works with the Apple Watch, so it’s not of much value to you if you need to charge a non-Apple device. But if you’re completely stuck in the Apple ecosystem, Satechi Quatro is a great one-stop solution for all your Cupertino tech. read more——Andrew Lizewski

Satechi Duo Wireless Charger Power Stand

I found the Satechi Duo Wireless Charger to be fully functional. It provides a nice stand for docking the phone vertically while charging. This unique construction is very convenient for hands-free video calls or meetings. The stand is also fully adjustable, so you can decide at what angle you want to use it. While its stand supports your phone, its base also provides space for your AirPods and Apple Watch. The Satechi Duo has a total capacity of 10,000 mAh and can provide 10W of fast charging power to all three devices simultaneously.

Even at 50% charge, it fully charged my iPhone 12 Pro Max and Moto Razr+ and still had plenty of juice.

Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 20K

The Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank is a rugged device that can charge multiple devices at the same time. This isn’t the kind of small, unobtrusive portable battery you can tuck into your jeans pocket. It is a large and powerful power bank with a total power of 15W and can power up to three devices. It offers two 12W and one 15W ports, and as the name suggests, you get 20,000 mAh of power via BoostCharge.

I was able to wirelessly charge an iPhone 12 Pro Max from 23% to 100% in about 20 minutes, which is very impressive and in line with the company’s claim of charging an iPhone 15 Pro in 35 minutes. I charged my iPad with this power bank using a Type-C cable, but it was much slower. My iPad Pro charges from 17% to full in about two hours.

Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5K Portable Wireless Charger

Anker’s PowerCore Magnetic 5K is a portable wireless charger with a 5,000 mAh battery that attaches to the back of any iPhone 12 model using magnets. It’s also the smallest portable wireless charger we’ve tested to date. If you spend more than $40 on the latest iPhone, the PowerCore Magnetic 5K is an obvious accessory. Even if Apple launches a thinner MagSafe charging solution that offers faster charging times and a slimmer design, it will undoubtedly be much more expensive than Anker’s existing products. read more — Andrew Lizewski
