Find the maximum headroom for this card
The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER OC Edition lives up to its name, at less than a foot long and weighs 2 pounds, 9 ½ ounces. As you can deduce from the name, it comes with a 120MHz increase over stock, with a boost clock of 2595MHz. As is common with cards of this generation, the memory is not overclocked. With “military spec” components and three 92mm fans, you should see sustained GPU frequencies while gaming without being too loud.
This card has more headroom, though, and FPS Review used ASUS GPU Tweak III (which you can learn more about at the link below) to increase the GPUCore voltage by 30% and increase the power target by 15%. This allowed them to squeeze an extra 203MHz out of the GPU, giving it a rated Boost of 2768MHz, and the memory was also increased by 1.5GHz, bringing the memory to 22.5GHz.
As you can see here, this definitely has a positive impact on performance.
