Curved displays on smartphones have always been a luxury for consumers as most curved displays are usually found on flagship phones. However, the Realme P1 Pro is priced under Rs 22,000 ($265) and comes with a curved display, making it more affordable.
The company has launched the new P1 series in India, including the Realme P1 and P1 Pro models. The latter is equipped with a 6.7-inch curved screen, which further has Full HD+ resolution and a higher 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core CPU and Adreno 710 GPU.

The device looks stunning, especially for the segment it caters to; it has a huge circular camera module on the back and comes in eye-catching new Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue color options. While the camera visor looks quite large, it only has two sensors: a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device relies on a 16MP lens for selfies.
Realme P1 Pro ships with Android 14 and runs Realme UI 5.0 on it. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery capacity that supports 45W SuperVOOC charging.
Meanwhile, the standard Realme P1 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, has a 120Hz refresh panel, and is priced under Rs 16,000 (approximately $200), putting it in the cheaper Android phone segment. It also has a 50MP main camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
The color options of the device appear a bit subdued compared to similar devices; however, the colors look attractive. The battery capacity is 5000mAh and supports 45W super fast charging. Additionally, it supports reverse charging.
Realme P1 Pro is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 22,999 for the larger 256GB variant. The standard Realme P1 6GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 15,999 and the 8GB+256GB model is priced at Rs 18,999. It also comes in Phoenix Red and Malachite Green.
