Verizon is running a promotion that lets you get home internet for just $0 a month. That’s right, new Verizon Forward customers can get the carrier’s 5G Home, LTE Home, or FIOS 300Mbps internet absolutely free for the first six months.
Despite the government’s impending end to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), Verizon said customers who qualify for Verizon Forward will continue to receive home internet at a discount.
Verizon Forward plans start at $20 per month. The new promotion allows new and eligible Verizon Forward customers to get six months of free internet service through September 3, 2024.
If you choose FIOS Internet instead of the 5G Home or LTE Home plans, you’ll need to pay a $99 installation fee. Once you activate your service after subscribing, the $0 per month promotion will be applied during the first or second billing cycle. New users must activate the service before September 30, 2024 to take advantage of the promotion.
It’s also important to know that after the first six months of paying $0 per month, users will be charged the then-current plan rate.
Who is eligible for Verizon Forward?
Verizon Forward is available to new and existing customers. Eligibility does not require AutoPay or a Verizon Wireless mobile plan to sign up.
Homes with a 5G Home or LTE Home plan, ACP roll-in customers, and homes that meet other qualifying income criteria are eligible for Verizon Forward.
Verizon Forward can also be combined with other discounts, such as Lifeline and Military and Veterans discounts.
