Happy Saturday, guys!Since they arrive on the scene in mid-2022, we have considered Google’s noise-canceling Pixel Buds Pro become this Wireless headphones built specifically for Pixel phone owners — partly because of their excellent feature set, and partly because they solve the connectivity issues that plagued earlier models. The best part, however, is that they often sell for well below the MSRP. For example, you can buy them right now at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy for around $139 ($60 off), which is on par with their second-highest price yet.
In terms of features, Google’s latest Pixel Buds are designed to compete with the best offerings from Apple, Sony, and others. Their noise cancellation doesn’t quite match what the latest AirPods Pro or Bose achieve with its QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, but it’s still very good, especially if you just want to drown out the sounds of a coffee shop or the office. They also include multipoint support, and thanks to a welcome firmware update coming in the fall, new conversation technology will automatically enable transparency mode and pause any audio you’re listening to when you start speaking. Add in the long-lasting battery capacity and some Pixel-exclusive features (including native controls and head-tracking spatial audio), and if you’re already into the Google ecosystem, it’s easy to see why they remain our number one choice.
To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of most key lights, many of which opt for round or square designs that can be a bit of an eyesore when placed above a monitor. As you might imagine, Logitech’s full-spectrum LED keylight is designed for streaming, podcasting, or making video calls at home. It’s sleeker than similar products like Razer’s Key Light Chroma and Elgato’s new Key Light MK.2, allowing it to be aligned vertically with the top of your monitor, or easily adjusted into a traditional desk lamp when you’re not streaming. It also has adjustable brightness and color temperature, which you can adjust between a relatively warm 2700K and a super-cool 6500K using onboard hardware controls or Logitech’s G Hub desktop app. As for compatibility, it works with macOS and Windows via USB and Bluetooth, but no matter which connection method you choose, you’ll need to plug in a USB cable for power.
