3 Ways to Contact Facebook Customer Support

Despite its ups and downs, controversies and successes, Facebook remains one of the most visited websites in the world. However, contacting its customer support is extremely difficult. Facebook doesn’t have a call center, so if you need help with your account, you can’t call Mark Zuckerberg directly.

With the help of my Pocket-lint colleagues, I’ve simplified these steps into the three best ways to get the support you need.

1 Send a message to a Facebook representative

via direct contact form

Unless you have a personal relationship with Facebook support, getting a response via email is nearly impossible. But many frequently asked questions have corresponding contact forms, which can be found in the Facebook Help Center. To help you save time, I’ve listed direct links to all available contact forms. If your specific question appears below, please feel free to click on the link and submit your question. Replies will be sent to the email address associated with your Facebook account.

Not all contact forms allow you to enter a message, but instead provide a list of options that you can check.

To report another user’s abusive content, profile, post, or message, you can tap/click the three dots (or down arrow) in the corner of the post and select “Report” or “Get support.”

Via email and chat

This contact method is only available for business accounts with the Checkout service and is not accessible to any other type of account. If you do have such an account, you can find support on the Commerce Manager page via this link.

On your Business Manager page:

1. Click on your account.
2. Find the Education drop-down list and click Contact Support.
3. Browse the categories to find one that matches your question.
4. Write a message in the text box describing your problem.
5. Select email or chat and send your message.

1. Try contacting Facebook (now called X) on Twitter.

If you’ve tried everything else and still can’t get any support, there’s a chance the tech giant will see your tweet. Send your tweets to one of the Facebook Twitter handles: @FacebookApp, @Messenger and @Meta. There’s no guarantee they’ll get back to you, but it’s worth a try if you need help and are being ignored.

2. Try calling or emailing the discontinued Facebook support line.

Facebook used to offer phone support but has since discontinued the service. However, the phone numbers still appear to be owned by Facebook, so you can give them a try. These emails are still being used, but are not always responded to in a timely manner.

Be careful of scams when connecting to such discontinued services. Facebook representatives may not ask for your password or other private information.

I’m going to address this first since it’s an official support resource from Facebook. Although the Facebook Help Center can’t connect you with real-life people, it covers almost every question you might have.

Here’s how to use it.

1. Use this link to navigate to the Facebook Help Center. You can also copy and paste the URL into your browser: www.facebook.com/help/.
2. Use the search bar to search for the appropriate support article.
3. In the example below, I searched for “I can’t access Facebook Marketplace.”
4. As you enter your query, suggestions pop up.
5. Explain your question as clearly as possible using a minimum of keywords.
6. Browse different support articles to find the one that solves your problem.
7. If you are redirected to a contact form, please fill in the correct information.
