Recently, a post about a contamination-themed drink caught the attention of many social media users. X user Arnav Gupta (@championswimmer) shared that a restaurant in Bangalore has a cocktail called “Varthur Overflow”. Bangalore’s Vassar Lake is notorious for its high pollution levels. In 2023, the lake made headlines when 25,000 fish died due to water pollution.

In the caption, user Not self-healing.” Replying to a comment later, he corrected himself, saying the restaurant he was referring to was Oota Whitefield in Bengaluru.
