Even before the Fallout TV show comes out, you can already use some stylish gear in Fallout 4 thanks to mods

The Fallout TV show is launching on Amazon Prime later this week, and if you’re replaying Fallout 4 while you wait for April 11 to arrive, there’s a new mod that’s definitely worth picking up. This is a product for all merch lovers, as it adds a backpack to the game that’s identical to the one worn by the show’s shelter-dweller Lucy as she traverses the wilderness.

Yes, we already have fan films adding new ending scenes to the adventures of Sole Survivor this month, and now they’re being given a new way to show they’re keeping up with the trends as they lug around Ten Million Bits of things fought over the Commonwealth. To be fair, they did lose their spouses and such, so they probably deserved all those nice things.

If you’re wondering what QwibQwibMods’ “Lucy’s Vault-Tec Backpack” is based on, I’ll direct you to some promotional screens for the Amazon Fallout TV show, in which main character Lucy (Ella Purnell) rocks a pretty ‘s backpack matches her classic blue and yellow vault outfit. As you can imagine, this mod adds a pack inspired by it in Fallout 4 so you can pair up with the new California Gold Cube Betsy.

Very conveniently located in a blue pod building outside of Vault 111 – you know, when you start the game after stepping out of the refrigerator, this bag in default form adds 25 to your carry weight stat, making it Becomes equivalent to the base version of the Creation Club Modular Military Backpack and most other non-OP backpack mods. That said, it’s also upgradeable via the Armor Workbench, so if you want, you can add an extra amount of gear that you can carry around like a Wasteland Pack Rat.

To complete this look, you can even combine it with an outfit from the Commonwealth Story Expansion Project modding team’s “Vault 33 Jumpsuit – Fallout TV Show,” which, as you might expect, brings Lucy’s Vault suit to Fallout 4 in. On the other hand, if you like the design of the TV show bag but prefer to play a character who won’t be seen wearing the Vault-Tec colors, the mod also includes an optional version of the backpack that comes in a more neutral brown and a green color scheme more suited to the wardrobe of a hardened post-apocalyptic survivalist.

If you’re not sure which of these two wasteland fashion camps you fall into, hopefully this mod walkthrough video from modder Elianora of QwibQwib will help you decide.
