To be as clear as possible, Cena is most likely not teasing anything here. If you scroll through his profile, he often posts random images with no context (Includes images from other video games). His bio even says “these images will be released without explanation for your interpretation.” But if you think about it, it’s not that far-fetched that Cena would end up being part of a Nintendo movie. super mario bros movie shows how willing the company is to rely on Hollywood A-listers like this Chris Pratt and Seth Rogen. Cena would at least likely put more effort into it than the role they would play in this hypothetical situation.After Cena posted, fan suggestions started rolling in, including some very inspired choices like Sky Sword King Grus of Simbo.
Having seen most of Cena’s comedic roles, I immediately thought of Zelda His booming voice and tall stature suit the role, and based on how the movie handles the Gorongs, the “rock people” who live in the mountains, I could easily see Cena as someone like this Ocarina of TimeIt’s Darunya.

But there’s also a chance he could play one of the leads. Maybe it’s time for Link to experience “Twink Death” and become a burly man? He’s certainly good enough to be Ganondorf, but I doubt Nintendo or Sony would want to spark an immediate whitewashing controversy over something it might want to see grow into a major movie series.
