Apple has announced some Godzilla-sized updates to its streaming service.First is the spin-off series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters“The Show,” which premiered on Apple TV Plus last year, has been renewed for a second season. There aren’t any details yet on what the new season will be about or when it will begin airing, but showrunners and co-creators Chris Black and Matt Flexon will be returning.
On top of that, Apple said it has signed a deal with Legendary Pictures for more projects based on its “Monsterverse,” which will include “multiple spin-off series.” It’s unclear what these series might be, but hopefully we’ll get some insight into Shobijin. The news comes just weeks after the latest feature in the series was released, Godzilla x Kong: A New Empirereleased.
