besides Almost a year Until the audience sees their brand New Captain America Sam Wilsonon the big screen — but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige still decided it was time to debut the first footage Captain America: Brave New World exist 2024 Film Convention.
Feige takes the stage in Las Vegas and immediately sets high expectations with comparisons Captain America: Brave New World and Captain America: Winter Soldier. Feige explained that it still resonates with fans because it’s fast-paced, exciting, and “relatively grounded” for a Marvel movie. And, apparently, it’s more of the same.
The sequence begins with an image of the White House, with the classic Captain America theme from other movies in the background. Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) enters the Oval Office to greet the new President of the United States, Thaddeus Ross, Played by Harrison Ford. Of course, the character was previously played by the late William Hurt, so Sam commented on how different he looked — and Ross said they told him he had to lose the mustache or he would lose the election . He also wanted to quit smoking, so he was handed a red lollipop.
Ross tells Sam that while he doesn’t generally like superheroes, what he did in Mexico changed his mind. Now, he wants Sam to help rebuild the Avengers as Captain America. “If we disagree on something, what happens?” he asked the man who was behind the triggering of the Sokovia Accords Captain America: Civil War.
Next, the President makes an introduction and explains that Sam and Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) recently acquired some very important items and he thanks them for it. However, his speech was interrupted by an old song that started playing on the speakers.The song triggered one of the original super soldiers, Isaiah Bradley (via The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Played by Carl Rubley). He fully becomes the Winter Soldier and attempts to assassinate the president. All hell breaks loose and Sam gets involved, fighting Isaiah, and then another guy gets triggered and goes after the president.
Sam then chases Isaiah while Isaiah throws tables behind him and runs and jumps like a superhuman robot. When the dust settled, President Ross and Sam agreed that Ross’s inner circle had been compromised and “you couldn’t see them, or didn’t want to see them.”
This transitions into a montage of action scenes, including a moment where several bad guys try to stun Sam with stun batons, but he stops them with his shield.All the excitement ends with Ross saying “You’re not Steve Rogers” to Sam, to which he replies “You’re right, I’m not.” The camera cuts to Sam in his new Captain America armor, complete with Falcon wings, Unfolding among the cherry blossom trees in Washington, D.C.
