Motorola recently confirmed that the Edge 50 Ultra will be equipped with 125W fast charging. The tweet shows an animation of the phone’s internal components, but not the phone itself. This latest trailer goes an extra step.
This is a phone painted in Pantone’s 2024 Color of the Year “Peach Fuzz”. This color is already used in the Motorola Edge 40 Neo and Razr 40 Ultra.

Coming back to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, the design is the same as what we saw in the renders, with a camera island in the top left corner. The third lens is oval in shape, the 72mm periscope.
From the leaked information, we know that the Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 165Hz curved display and a 50MP main camera. Thanks to Motorola’s partnership with Corning, it should also use Gorilla Glass.

The Motorola Edge 50 event is officially scheduled to take place on April 16th (tomorrow), coinciding with the European release of the already officially announced Motorola Edge 50 Pro (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 125W).
In addition to the Ultra and Pro, we expect to see a Fusion model (supposedly equipped with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 68W charging). The Ultra should also come to the US as the Motorola Edge+ 2024. Check out this article for rumored prices for the new model.
