As the lineup of traditional ThinkBook laptops continues to expand, it’s hard not to be excited about what Lenovo plans to launch in 2024 and beyond.

Undoubtedly, the most eye-catching laptop is the Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display, which features a see-through screen that gives you a glimpse into the potential future of laptops. The company says it has a 17.3-inch Micro-LED transparent display that offers a bezel-less viewing experience. The keyboard area is also transparent, making the laptop look almost like a space-age floating device unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Despite its transparent design, Lenovo says its display delivers 1,000 nits of brightness, exceeding expectations for this new technology.

There’s also a lot of talk about Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) and how it might work on a laptop like this. Unfortunately, Lenovo calls this laptop a “proof-of-concept,” so we don’t expect to be buying one in the near future, if ever. “The Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop is more than a proof of concept, it showcases a future perspective of AI-powered PCs that blend digital and physical environments to enhance the user experience like never before,” the company’s press release reads.

Of course, Lenovo didn’t just launch a futuristic laptop that no one could buy for a long time. In fact, the company released multiple versions of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5, Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 3, Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2, and Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4. These laptops are all slated to launch between March and May, so there’s some exciting cool stuff coming, even if most of these models build on the success of already popular laptops Iterative changes.
