If you have the space, Philips has an impressive new monitor coming in 2024. The Evnia 49M2C8900 has an impressive width of 1.2 meters, also known as 47 inches, which not every table can handle due to its extra-wide design. If you can, you’ll be able to enjoy quantum dot OLED color, which measures 143.9% for sRGB and nearly 100% for DCI-P3 and AdobeRGB. This monitor can also reach HDR1000 if your eyes can handle it. Thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, the refresh rate can reach up to 240 Hz, and it’s also G-SYNC compatible.
The display also features Philips Ambiglow lighting, which makes the display appear larger than it actually is, with matching lighting on the surrounding flat surface. Inputs include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port that supports DP-Alt mode and 90W power delivery. You’ll also find a four-port USB 3.2 Gen1 hub, two of which offer fast charging, an audio jack, and four 7.5W speakers, the quality of which surprised KitGuru.
The final surprise is that at $1,100, it’s hundreds of dollars cheaper than other similar monitors
